You have a mailing list. It was gathered by minimum wage workers over a decade as construction was had, street names changed, and people moved. If the names on the address list to which you are mailing paper coupon discounts for drain gutter cleaning and rat removal have not been updated in the last decade, then you have a "dirty list." Your mailing list needs address hygiene. A shaving of the list of homes which used to exist where the gas station now lives. A bunch of red Xs now where that electric company fire happened. And a whole bunch of other noted addressee changes from the Smiths and Jonses and Chens to just being recleaned as "Occupant."
