What happens when the Aroon Up Indicator and the Aroon Down Indicator throw away the hat and have a baby. Or more accurately, what we get when we subtract the Aroon Up Indicator from the Aroon Down Indicator. The Aroon Oscillator is a measure of how strong the trend in the performance of a security is and how likely that trend is to keep on keeping on.
If the Aroon Oscillator is positive, you’ve got an uptrending security. If it’s negative, the trend is downward.
