Living on her farm in Nebraska, Lulu Mae had to rely solely on the electrical and telephone lines that reached her house in the rural countryside in order to access the internet. But after moving to the big city of Omaha, she found that apartment complexes, with their fancy wires and broadband service, allowed her to both surf the web and talk on the phone at the same time.
