Capacity
How much something will hold. Like the 88,782 gumballs that the fish tank had inside. Or the 6.3 times EBITDA as the maximum capacity debt amount that the company could borrow.
On a larger scale, it can mean the maximum level of output of goods and/or services that a given system can potentially produce over a set period of time. In most cases, it is unlikely that any system will operate at full capacity for prolonged periods, because natural inefficiencies and other factors decrease potential output. Strive for accurate forecasting to be "at capacity."
