America first got infected with this song when the trailer for Saturday Night Fever hit the screens. Audiences saw a bellbottom-wearing John Travolta strutting down a NYC street to this catchy first line, and everybody was like, "This is the best thing I've ever seen." "Stayin Alive," "How Deep is Your Love," and "Night Fever" were all hits off of the soundtrack for the Bee Gees. They actually ended up tying with the Beatles for most number one hits in a row.
