- Hospital time. Bart is able to find Nola's room even though he's worried he'll get lost. He sneaks into the ward behind a nurse using her badge.
- Bart finds the room, but Nola's not in it. The nurse from the day before informs him that Nola's been moved to the ICU.
- So Bart heads up to the ICU. Access is restricted but Bart sneaks in behind a doctor using his badge.
- He peers into cubicles looking for Nola, and when he finally finds her… she's with Tyro and his family. Whoa. Nola is Tyro's sister.
- Nola is clearly dying. Turns out she told her family about her friendship with Bart, though of course she never mentioned the small fact that she's a Bergen to Bart.
- As he watches Nola's family weep, Bart wonders if they've known she's dying all along. He feels like he was kept in the dark. (Hey, Bart—this moment might be a little more about them than you. Just sayin'…)
- Fortunately, he keeps those thoughts to himself. Much as he wants to, he doesn't cry, either. Bart will not be brought low before Tyro.
- He makes his escape, finding his mom in the cafeteria so they can bounce.
- In the parking lot, Bart tells his mom that Nola is Tyro's sister. She's shocked, but she says it doesn't matter. Then she cries with Bart.
- Bart asks his mom if she misses his dad. She does. A lot.
