Captain Farrar is the military leader who asks Isabel to take a message back to Captain Morse after she comes to tell him Farrar won the bet about whether the British would still hold Queen Charlotte's birthday celebration. It is Farrar's note that Isabel throws into the fire when Madam finds out she's been delivering messages for the Patriots. He's a minor character, but he's involved in a pretty major moment in our main girls' story.
