Piper Timeline and Summary

Piper meets her new cousin Daisy; fun and frolicking ensues.
Piper and Daisy get sent to live with a family in Reston Bridge, separated from the boys.
When they start volunteering for the war effort, everyone loves Piper.
Piper witnesses a coworker and the man she's staying with get brutally murdered.
She and Daisy make a run for it, hiding out in a barn with Daisy and a bunch of others; Piper makes friends.
During an attack, Piper and Daisy make another run for it.
While finding their way home, Piper and Daisy experience a bad mushroom trip.
Unable to find her siblings at the site of a massacre, Piper returns home with Daisy, where they live in the lambing barn and wait.
