Kidnapped Steaminess Rating

Exactly how steamy is this story?

G

So very G. There is really, really nothing steamy in this novel. The closest thing Alan or Davie comes to a date is when they trick a local waitress into rowing them across the mouth of the Forth River by playing up how pathetic Davie looks – not exactly sensual. We suppose it might be a tiny bit racy that Davie's father and uncle were involved in a love triangle with Davie's mother, but – no, actually, even that won't bump this novel into PG territory.
