Cassia's Official

Cassia's real enemy in figuring out her life is the Society, but it's personified through Cassia's nameless Official, who conveniently appears with a warning whenever Cassia's done something suspicious or wrong (and by wrong, we mean not falling perfectly in line with orders). She lies and manipulates Cassia, and seems to enjoy making the poor girl feel powerless, confused, and guilty.
