We have the occasional references to Orlando no longer being innocent (Chapter One), some passionate foreplay (Chapter Three), and lying with loose women (Chapter Four). Here’s an example from Chapter One: "[Women] perched on his knee, flung their arms round his neck and, guessing that something out of the common lay hid beneath his duffle cloak, were quite as eager to come at the truth of the matter as Orlando himself." All in all, sex has a low-key presence in Orlando.
