- On Saturday, Victor goes to pitch a game. After, when he's headed home, he sees Ara T pushing his cart in the opposite direction of his shed. Victor knows that this is his chance to go in and look for his knife.
- He drops his newspaper bags and goes into the shed; there's a bunch of stuff inside. It's pretty full and there are rats scuffling around, but there's also no sign of the knife.
- As he turns to leave, Victor hears the unmistakable sound of Ara T's cart approach. Uh-oh…
- With nowhere to hide, Victor runs straight out of the shed and hits Ara T in the chest. Ara T falls over, but Victor just keeps on running without looking back. He goes straight home and takes a long bath.
- Mam asks Victor why he took a bath without being told and asks if he's seen Ara T hanging around today. He lies and says that he hasn't.
- Because Victor's parents have left on vacation, Mam will be staying in the house with Victor overnight. She sleeps on the other twin bed in his room.
