Norton

Norton is a creepy kid that Lorraine and John know. Though he lurks in background for most of the book, he proves himself an antagonist when he crashes John's party at Mr. Pignati's house and smashes Mr. Pignati's pig collection.

Lorraine and John have challenging relationships with most adult authority figures. Their parents and teachers tend to criticize and restrict them.
