Character Analysis
Bailey is Shaun's BFF and about as chill as they come. He doesn't care about the specifics or dwell on the past, and so long as he gets to play video games at the end of the day, he's a happy camper. Even when he has a little fight with his friend over inviting Lane over, the air is cleared quickly. Bailey just really isn't one to sweat the small stuff. Kiriel describes him as "an easygoing fellow. He seemed to accept whatever was set in front of him with good humor" (12.14). We couldn't have said it better ourselves. The guy doesn't mind when Kiriel invites people over to his house, and he takes everything in his stride, providing an easy-going sidekick to Kiriel's brief adventures above ground.
