Exactly how steamy is this story?
PG-13
There’s no explicit sex, but Jean-Baptiste Clamence basically outlines his guidebook for how to be successful with the ladies. The juiciest bits of this novel come in when Jean-Baptiste decides to use "debauchery" to distract himself from his own vices. Debauchery = sex and booze. He even makes a point of differentiating using women from using debauchery. The second is a lot racier. However, the debauchery solution doesn’t work for Jean-Baptiste.
