Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne)’s Timeline and Summary

We first hear Morpheus' voice when he talks to Neo on the phone at his work. He tries but fails to lead Neo away from the agents.
Morpheus calls Neo again when he is at home after being interrogated by Smith. He tells him that they must meet.
When his crew brings in Neo, Morpheus sits down and talks to him about the Matrix, ultimately offering him a choice between discovering what the Matrix is and going back to life as he knew it.
Then Morpheus works with his crew to rescue and rehabilitate Neo until he is ready for training.
Morpheus works with Neo to help him understand how to bend the rules of the Matrix (by beating up on him in martial arts duels).
Finally, Morpheus decides Neo is ready to see the Oracle, so off they go.
On their way back, they are attacked by agents and Morpheus, still believing that Neo is The One, sacrifices himself by jumping on Smith and letting the others get away.
Morpheus is captured by the agents and struggles to keep the information in his brain secure as the agents try to hack him.
Morpheus is then saved by Trinity and Neo and makes it back into the Matrix where, at the last possible moment, he uses the EMP to disable the sentinels, saving the Nebuchadnezzar and its crew from destruction.
