There's no actual sex in this book, but since it's about a girl who juggles two teenage boy love interests, there are tons of hormones. Lennie's relationship with Toby has a fast, out-of-control intensity: desire leads to uncomfortable hugs leads to making out leads to a hookup that might've lead to sex if not for the (in)convenient interruption by Joe. Lennie's relationship with Joe moves more slowly, but there are still passionate make-out sessions, complete with lots of flying and sky metaphors, plus there's talk of having sex eventually, when Lennie is ready.
