Unforgiven Scene 14 Summary

  • Will, Ned, and the Kid are getting ready for bed near their fire.
  • Ned grumbles, and so does Will.
  • The Kid comes back from somewhere, gets under his blanket, and starts asking Will if some of the stories he's heard are true.
  • Will says he can't "recollect." The Kid pesters him for answer, but Will won't give one.
  • Finally, he asks Will how many men he's killed. Ned asks him why he's asking.
  • Ned asks the Kid how many people he's killed.
  • The Kid says he's killed five, including some Mexicans, one of whom had a knife.
