Physical Danger
There's not a lot of physical danger involved in being a farm research scientist, but there's probably more of it than you'd think. If you're working outside, getting soil samples or working with livestock, there's always the danger of being bitten by a snake, bucked by a cow or horse, or burned by the sun. Then there are those tiny, flying vampires known as mosquitoes.
Inside the lab there's a lot of danger too, in the form of chemical exposure, broken glass, or even small explosions. We'd suggest not hiring any applicants named Wile E. to be your lab assistant. But otherwise, just use safety training and lab protocols and you should be able to keep yourself safe.
And while we're on the subject of safety, do you think you could research a method of pizza-folding that prevents burning the roof of one's mouth? Because...that'd be great.
