Glory
Your job may make you feel like a total rock star—or at least like Jason Bourne on a plane, but with a better haircut—but the whole point of this job is that you're incognito, so don't expect any medals or flowers from an adoring public.
If you do find yourself showered with adoration after a flight, it means something bad happened while you were in the air and you had to leap into action. As the saying goes, no guts, no glory. In this case, though, that glory is bittersweet since it only happens when people are in danger.
