Stress

Very low. In good times, anyway. That is, in good times, you work more or less when you want to work. And it's usually nice work—the great outdoors, a good physical workout during the day, no office politics, and no lines for the restroom (there are always trees near a construction site).

In bad times, the stress is just all about finding work—in locations where you don't have to drive two hours each way to get to it. You only start getting paid when you've showed up at the job. And you're sure not doing all that driving for your health...although the Achilles heel of your braking foot is getting quite a workout.
