Just in case you need another reminder: this isn't a career—or even a full-time job. Mall Santas make more than you do. The way things currently stand, this is more of a really glamorous hobby than an occupation.
And it's a really glamorously expensive hobby at that. While you'll get paid something for all of your hard work, it won't be much. Some cheerleaders have recently made less than five dollars an hour, which is a lot less than minimum wage (source). California State Rep and former Stanford cheerleader Lorena Gonzalez has been leading the way and fighting for wages to be increased to at least minimum wage—which is certainly a fair proposition.
Some cheerleaders have reported annual salaries of about $3,000 (source). And remember, you're responsible for a lot of the other expenses that come with the job. After forking over the money for things like hair and makeup, it could end up costing you money to be a professional cheerleader.
As far as outside benefits go, there are some silver linings. You'll at least get to attend every game, receive free parking, and get plenty of exposure. Your back will often be facing the field during the game, so you won't really get to watch and enjoy it...but at least the cameras will know exactly where you are.
