Glory

No doubt being a choreographer will give you a chance for glory. Watching your troupe flawlessly execute the dance you created, hearing the crowd erupt in applause after it's done—these things have the power to fill you to bursting with self-satisfaction. Even if you're not the most famous choreographer around, successfully pulling off a great show even in a small venue can be an enormously satisfying thing.

Be warned, though: where there's a chance for great glory, there's also threat of humiliating defeat. In the midst of the performance, you might realize your idea is totally embarrassing; maybe your idea is awesome but the dancers totally screw it up; or maybe the audience is out there scratching their heads and wishing they'd gone to Pirates of the Caribbean 8 instead.
