Physical Danger
The fear of being injured is a constant worry for any dancer. There's neck strain, tendonitis, wrist and ankle sprains, muscle spasms, even something called snapping hip syndrome (that one sounds terrifying to us). Some injuries don't happen all at once either. Eventually your body might just give out from all the strain you put on it every day.
Injuries can spell doom for a dance career, so dancers have to do everything they can to guard against them. The best safeguard is proper training. A good dance teachers can show you how to snap to it without snapping that hip.
