As a great poet once said, "Splendor in the grass, glory in the flower." You and your fellow ecologists should be able to find glory in a dandelion, grace in the stride of an antelope, and splendor in the...experimental fungal colonies growing across your conga line of Petri dishes.

Just don't be surprised if the rest of the world won't be able to see it quite like you do.
