Odds of Getting In
If you've got one o' them advanced degrees that we mentioned on the last page, or you're brimming with confidence and personality, you shouldn't have any trouble finding a job. Even if you don't have a degree, chances are pretty good that work is available as long as you're passionate about fitness and have put the time into learning it, whether that be a lifetime of classes or taking a certification course.
It's not surprising to find out a fitness instructor had previously been a client at the gym before becoming certified, so building a rep at your local body shop is something you can start now.
There's also a decently high rate of turn-around in the profession, so job openings come around pretty regularly. Either way, you should be good.
