Qualifications
Let's assume you know your way around glass the way young Michelangelo knew his way around—well, painting, or sculpting, or basically every other art form. What else do you need to make this your job?
Theoretically, you could complete an apprenticeship. But these positions are pretty rare so you shouldn't bank on it. Some museums offer training programs, but your best bet is to find a fine arts program at a university or trade school where you can get a degree or certification in glassblowing.
It's important to remember that just because you're able to make light bulbs doesn't mean you need to be the brightest one. What you need most are strong business skills like website development and design, not to mention a bit of showmanship.
Oh, and you should probably be skilled at blowing glass, too. You're not going to get very far if everything you create happens to be shaped like an awkward noodle.
