Glory
If you win the Breeder's Cup or the Kentucky Derby, they'll toss a garland of roses at you, along with a whole bunch of money. Everyone will want you to ride their horse because they think you have the secret touch or the magic feather or whatever.
Sit on the back of a Triple Crown winner and you're going to be in the record books along with the incredible beast you ride. That is, until your luck takes a turn for the worse. If you then lose a few races, suddenly you're yesterday's news.
But at least you'll have all those newspaper headlines in your scrapbook. For the grandkids.
