Odds of Getting In
There are gobs of opportunities for lawyers, but gobs of lawyers as well. It's no secret what a stable, high-paying job it is, so you won't be alone in trying to break in. The more respected your law school is, and the more talented and knowledgeable you are, the better your chances of starting up a successful private practice or becoming employed by a large firm. ("A large, firm what?" you ask. Aren't you the clever one.)
