Glory
Money's important, but so is the TLC you give your customers. Nothing compares to taking a stressed out anxiety-prone bundle of nerves and turning them into a relaxed piece of silly putty in your hands. You don't just do it for the tips, you do it for that look on people's faces as they get up off that bed, stretch their arms over their head, smile—and nearly fall asleep standing up. Like a cat's morning stretch.
It's a good feeling to know that you helped relax someone's pains, problems, and worries away. Although seriously, we hope they're not too relaxed to realize they need to put something in your tip jar. That's a different kind of glory.
