How does one become a "yenta," you ask?
If you want to become a matchmaker, you could try going to a matchmaking school.
It also won't hurt going to a fancy Ivy League school where you can get to know and understand your rich clientele (and possibly start building up that Rolodex).
You'll definitely need to be good with people, sizing them up and quickly getting to know them.
Having a degree in psychology wouldn't hurt. If anything it'll give you some clout, unless you already have your own TV series.
You also might want to major in marketing. It worked for Rachel Greenwald, who used her MBA and strategies for marketing designer water (yes, designer water) to groom, present, and market singles. We're guessing the designer water industry wasn't the most lucrative.
