Glory
Glory is kind of a battlefield concept to begin with. But we usually think of glory in terms of the outnumbered soldiers who hold the fort against the evil invaders or the valiant charge of cavalry to rescue prisoners of war. Okay, maybe these images are a bit dated.
We should picture glory in the form of those who are behind the lines keeping people alive—the battlefield surgeons and their teams. This kind of glory makes moms everywhere proud.
