Odds of Getting In
If you're super smart, do well in school, do well on your SATs, SAT Subject Tests, ACTs, MCATs, your odds of getting in are pretty good.
Keep in mind, to get a good job, you will first need a good internship. Beyond having good grades, it also pays to know some people who can give you a recommendation.
Because the rewards and salaries are high, ophthalmology internships are competitive and hard to come by. However, if you're tenacious and you've got the skills...you should have no problem.
