Physical Danger
Sure, we guess there are dangers on the poker floor. One of those heavy chandeliers falls from the ceiling? Boom, you're crushed. There's a fire and all 1,500 people in the room need to make a run for the same exit? Good luck.
You win a major tournament and accidentally get buried under a pile of cash? It was nice while it lasted. Even playing from home requires electricity, and we all know how much you enjoy playing in the bathtub.
Kidding aside, unless you're in the habit of provoking an array of shady characters while at the table, you're going to be just fine. There's not a lot that can happen to you when you're just sitting in a chair surrounded by professional security.
In fact, the greatest physical danger probably comes in the form of all that casino food you're going to ingest while "on the job." Just make sure you take a lap around the room every once in a while.
