Glory
If you want to be a priest, then glory is not the name of your game. In fact, you'd likely say that all of the glory belongs to God.
However, there is some glory to be found for a select few priests. For example, priests who are scientists get a lot of the glory because it's like oil and water in a single human being. Priests have to exercise a lot of humility, so glory is not exactly the goal, but if you happen to get a light touch of glory for making significant scientific progress, then God can't really blame you.
For the most part, the glory is all internal. It's in the warm-fuzzies you get for helping people in your community.
