Qualifications
You'll spend four (maybe more) years getting a bachelor's degree in something like history, political science, philosophy, or criminal justice (source). All the while, you'll tell people your plan to go to law school. They'll be very impressed.
After college, you'll spend a year working at your cousin's store that sells gently used clothing for kids while studying for the LSATs (source). You'll spend three years getting your law degree, and then sleeplessly prepare to pass the state bar exam. When you take the bar, you'll inevitably be seated next to the most nervous person in the room. But you'll pass the test despite your neighbor's incessant pen tapping and heavy breathing.
Now you're a lawyer! That wasn't so hard, was it?
