20-Year Prospect
It's not like people are going to stay home and watch videos on 3D TV instead of going to concerts (well, at least not everyone). That whole "rock and roll all night" thing doesn't work nearly as well if you're not rocking and rolling in the live audience.
The music business has been changing quite a bit in recent years, with streaming music and downloads usurping record sales, but folks still love flicking their Bic lighters and singing along in person with their favorite rock stars.
Live concerts will surely be around in twenty years. In fact, the easier access to music via streaming services has resulted in musicians actually touring more often, just to offset the portion of their income that used to come from album sales. Shows keep getting bigger and more elaborate, requiring more and more roadies to put everything together and take it all apart at the end of the night.
You'll still find a life on the road twenty years down the road there for you if you want it.
