There's something powerful and timeless about sculptures. They're used to commemorate some of the greatest and most powerful people int he world. The question isn't whether this creative outlet will exist in twenty years, especially in the land of the free, home of the taxpayer-funded memorials. 

The question is what the heck will people be sculpting with? From 3D printing to the next wave of sand sculpture, we've come a long way from the days of smashing rocks with other rocks to make them look like horses. If you create a new sculpture technique using plastic bottles and industrial waste, have at it. 

So long as you've got the skills, there'll be work for you.
