In twenty years the music industry will have evolved. Fewer and fewer musicians will be hired in favor of less-expensive synthesized versions of instruments and background tracks. It's been the current trend, and technology is only getting better.

That's not to say there won't still be work, but it might not be the kind that you're hoping for and it will be hard to get. Computer programs haven't quite gotten around to replacing the heart and soul of every instrument being played together in the same room. You'll need to be better to break in, but this job should be around for the next twenty years at least.
