Special education teachers may have to deal with students with disabilities that cause them to be violent or harmful to themselves. In these cases, special education teachers may have to intervene in order to deescalate the situation—thus opening the door for some physical mishaps. While this isn't always the case, just know that the physical dangers of teaching special education are more than paper cuts and ink on your hands.
