Glory

There's plenty of glory when it comes to helping people live out their dreams, take special trips, plan their honeymoons, travel for the first time, or arrange their getaway after a successful bank heist. For travel agents, there's nothing better than positive feedback after a trip. Many people develop close relationships with their travel agents over time. Not that too many clients are calling up their agent to ask if they'll be a godparent to their children, but closer than their relationship with their bank teller, anyway.

A successful travel agent must get to know their clients in order to help plan a vacation that matches their budget, personality, and needs. Selling a claustrophobic customer a small cabin on a cruise ship won't lead to glory when they pay you a visit after the end of a trip.
