Climate change is a hugely important issue these days, and alternative sources of energy, especially wind, are trending faster than most hashtags. Wind is the fastest growing source of electricity production in the world, making up nearly half of all electrical capacity additions in 2012 (source).

 

If Google thinks wind farming is cool, you're more "in" than the first kid in elementary school to get a smart phone. (Source)

To drive the point home, Google recently invested in it, so the wind farmers have obviously hit the big time (source).

Essentially, once you're in, you're totally in. Not only do your prospects of finding a job look great, the prospects of you keeping that job, even growing as the industry itself does, are pretty spectacular. Just don't fall off a turbine and we'd say you have yourself a pretty stable career path.
