There are three simple tenses. They live on a farm and don't ask questions.
- The simple present tense is the base form of the verb or the base form of the verb plus –s for third-person singular subjects.
- The simple past tense is the past tense form of the verb.
- The simple future tense is made up of the helping verb will plus the base form of the verb.
