Police Reports

Case Description: Complainant (Apollo) accuses Defendant (Corios) of adultery. When Apollo's pet raven told him that his lover, Corios, was cheating on him, the god was none too pleased.

Case Status: Case closed. Apollo sentenced Corios to death for her crime and either shot her with his arrow, or sent his sister Artemis to carry out the sentence.

Addendum: Corios happened to be pregnant with Apollo's son, Asclepius, at the time. The god cut Asclepius from Corios' womb just before her body was burned on a pyre. Close call.
