Oh, don't you just swoon for Augustus? From the get-go, it's obvious that he and Hazel have a connection, as much as she'd like to deny it. She's immediately attracted to him and the feeling is totally mutual. Though she tries to stave off his romantic advances, they eventually become inseparable friends and finally lovers. Augustus is her first love, and their love story and subsequent tragedy is one for the books.
