Character Analysis
Leo is Mr. Patimkin's half-brother. He only appears in the story during the Harriet and Ron's wedding reception. He's forty-eight and has a three-year-old daughter. He sells light bulbs for a living and Neil spends hours listening to him talk during the reception. Leo provides a window on working-class life in Newark.
