  1. Thriller
Maybe Neil Gaiman's characters were inspired by the characters in Thriller. This award winning music video might have been similar to the feelings Scarlett had after her second adventure in the graveyard. Of course, Vincent Price's voice always sets the mood for a creepy, crawly night. So, may we have this dance?

  2. Jack the Knife?
Our first introduction to The Graveyard Book is the opening line about Jack's knife. Sinister, you might say. Yes, we agree, but not all versions of serial killers come across that way. The interesting lyrics in Bobby Darin's Mack the Knife have us tapping and clapping as we endorse this devious character. Seems a bit more like Mr. Frost, instead of Jack. Almost likeable, but don't turn your back.
