Blog Post 1: Lucky in Love?

Dear readers,

I have this friend named Fara, who is going through some rough times in her marriage. She is very dear to me, and I want to be able to help her out. Maybe you can help, too, by sending your thoughts and wisdom. Here’s her story.

When Fara and her husband were young, everyday was like a dream. They were passionate, and they felt like they ruled the universe with their love. What else could anyone want?

I'll never forget the day I first heard about her husband-to-be. He rescued Fara and her brothers and sisters from the belly of her father (if you can believe that). Her husband-to-be was so handsome and strong and driven, you couldn’t help but fall in love with him. There seemed to be no one in the world as brave and dashing as he was.

Then he came to her in the form of a cuckoo bird and offered his love. A cuckoo bird? I thought that was so ridiculous at the time, and I told Fara exactly that. But she wouldn’t listen. She was blinded by love. Soon this husband of hers would be appearing to many other women in many other forms. What has become of her life? Well, let’s just say that she’s having a rough time working things out with her man.

Marriage is very hard. But it’s worth fighting for, am I right? Marriage is the bedrock of civilization – the most important institution there is. So, what advice do you have for Fara? She'll be checking all comments posted and would love to hear from you.

Blog Post 2: Pomegranate Custard Pie Recipe

Hello dear readers!

I’ve just invented a new DELICIOUS recipe that you are going to love. I made it for Zeusy-bear last night, and he ate the whole pan. It’s easy as pie.

Ingredients
613 pomegranate seeds
3 instant vanilla pudding packs
1 instant graham cracker crust
2 tbsp cinnamon 
1 pinch paprika
1 cup Olympian nectar

Get your 7 quart stand mixer ready with the flat beater in place. Combine the nectar and vanilla pudding packs first, and blend until you see snow-capped mountains form in the bowl. Next, add the pomegranate seeds and blend for another 5 minutes. Lastly, add the cinnamon and paprika and blend on low for another minute. Pour the batter into the graham cracker crust. Stick it in the fridge for 2 hours. You can decorate and garnish the pie with pomegranate seeds. Delish.

Blog Post 3: Don’t Get Mad, Get Even?

Wow! Thank you so much for all of your flood of feedback and comments regarding my friend Fara and her marriage issues. I really appreciate it. For those of you cynics out there who speculated that Fara is an imaginary friend and that I’m really talking about my marriage with Zeus, you are downright CRAZY. Everyone knows that Zeus and I have the strongest, most unshakable marriage ever. And anyone who denies that should watch his or her back, or else it could get very ugly, very fast.

Anyway, thank you, dear readers, for your thoughtful and heartfelt comments for Fara. I passed your thoughts along to her, and she was so delighted that she wanted me to ask you for more feedback. She is very curious to get your thoughts on the best approach in dealing with her husband’s infidelity.

Fara is officially fed up with everyone thinking of her as a nasty and vengeful woman. She believes she has a right to be angry and that she has a right to get back at these women who are sleeping with her husband. Has she really done anything wrong in punishing them? You'd think that sooner or later all these girls would learn not to sleep with her husband.

Fara caused a gadfly to constantly sting one mortal girl as she wondered the earth in the form of a cow. Fara sent a dragon to chase another mortal girl around the earth when she was pregnant with twins. The list goes on and on.

Fara actually has quite a knack for revenge! She makes an art out of it. She’s not vengeful. She’s just protecting what's hers. Right? Once again, let me (and Fara) know what you think, dear readers. Does the phrase, "don’t get mad, get even," apply here? What should Fara do?
