Chorus Timeline and Summary

The members of the Chorus try to talk some sense into Medea.
After listening to her, though, they sing an ode to feminine revolution and lament Medea's banishment.
They also sing on the destructive power of love.
Later, they chant about what a great and enlightened place Athens is and wonder if Athens will accept a murderess like Medea.
They bemoan the upcoming murders and observe that parents are worse off than people who don't have kids.
The Chorus members pray to the Zeus to stop Medea from killing her sons.
They conclude the play by observing that Zeus works in mysterious ways.
