Case Description: Complainant (Gaia) accuses Defendant (Apollo) of murder. Mother Earth alleged that Apollo killed her child, Python, a giant snake that guarded the Delphic Oracle.
Case Status: Case closed. Hey, it was a big nasty snake. Nobody wanted it hanging around. For his excellent skills in snake slaying, the court awarded Apollo care of Delphi from that point on. To make Gaia chill out about the whole thing, though, Apollo also served several years of hard labor.
